These terms govern your use of Foothills Community Church's website, member portal, and text messaging (SMS) program (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.
The Service
The Service lets you view church announcements and events, sign up to volunteer, check your children in for kids' ministry, give online, and receive text or email updates you've opted into. The Service is operated on behalf of Foothills Community Church by GDI Risk Advisory LLC, our technology partner.
Text Messaging (SMS) Terms
By opting in to receive text messages — for example, through our check-in kiosk, a sign-up form, or by providing your number to church staff — you agree to receive messages from Foothills Community Church, which may include kids' ministry check-in notifications, church-wide or group announcements, and event reminders.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties for any purpose.
Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for assistance. Supported carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information, including a phone number and email address you actually use.
- Keep your contact information up to date, especially information used for your children's safety during check-in.
- Use the Service only for its intended purpose — participating in and staying informed about church life.
Online Giving
Donations made through the Service are processed by a third-party payment processor, which has its own terms and privacy practices. We do not store your full payment card or bank account details.
No Warranty
The Service is provided "as is." While we work to keep it accurate and available, we don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Foothills Community Church and GDI Risk Advisory LLC are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the Service, including delayed or undelivered text messages.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona.
